Thanks to decisions by the Labour run council, our streets are filthier than ever.  It's time to get the basics right and give Brent back its bins.

Over the past few years the Labour Party in control of Brent Council:

  • Cut street cleaning time and again
  • Removed hundreds of litter bins from residential streets
  • Introduced fortnightly refuse collections
  • Imposed unpopular blue bags
  • Failed to deal with dumping of rubbish

As a result local streets are dirtier than ever.

Enough is Enough and local people are right in demanding improvements. Liberal Democrats have been calling for reversal of these bad decisions and for investment in much-needed street sweeping services and better action to tackling dumping. As a first step we are calling for replacement of our litter bins. If you agree please sign the Petition organised by Liberal Democrat Councillors.

Give Brent Back Our Bins

As a local resident I call in Brent Council to improve local street services. A first step I support the call for reinstatement of Litter Bins in local high streets and residential areas that were taken away as a result of bad decisions made by Labour Councillors.
