The Wembley Park Post Office, located in the London Designer Outlet, was permanently closed in July 2025 — and the community is feeling the loss.

This closure is a serious blow to the people of Wembley Park and the surrounding areas who rely on Post Office services for everyday needs — from sending parcels and accessing pensions to handling vital business operations. It also means the loss of local jobs and a further erosion of public services in our community.

Join the Campaign to Reopen the Wembley Park Post Office

The Wembley Park Liberal Democrats are calling on the Post Office to swiftly reinstate a local Post Office service following the sudden closure of the Wembley Park branch, which was forced to shut due to the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use.

The post office service in Wembley Park is vital for the local community. We are fighting to save our local Post Office and make sure Wembley Park is not left without the essential services they provide to so many people across our area.

We are not just losing a place to buy stamps — we are losing a lifeline. For elderly residents, local businesses, commuters, and visitors alike, the Wembley Park Post Office was a central, accessible, and essential part of daily life. Nearby alternatives are not suitable replacements: the Wembley Hill branch closes on Sundays, and the Wembley Central branch is over half a mile away, which poses a challenge for many local residents. We urge the Post Office to prioritise Wembley Park and act quickly to restore this vital service in a new, accessible location.

Wembley Park Is Not Alone

This is part of a wider trend. The Post Office has announced plans to close 32 branches across London.

These closures will have a devastating effect on:

  • Pensioners who need easy access to their funds
  • Small businesses that rely on local mailing and banking services
  • Tourists and residents who need reliable postal and currency exchange services
  • Jobs in our local economy

Let’s send a clear message: Wembley Park deserves its Post Office.

Reopen Wembley Park Post Office: Sign the Petition Now

Let’s send a clear message: Wembley Park deserves its Post Office. We urge the Post Office to urgently reinstate a Post Office service in Wembley Park, following the unplanned and permanent closure of the branch at the London Designer Outlet in July 2025. The Post Office has stated it is "investigating options" to restore services, but local residents want a firm commitment and swift action. By signing this petition, we urge the Post Office to prioritise the reopening of a sustainable, accessible branch in Wembley Park — without delay — to ensure that essential services remain available to the community.
